A Notice of Motion tells the other parties in your court case that you've asked the judge to do something in the case. It explains:

The type of motion you have filed,
When you are going to court,
Where you are going to court, including the courtroom number, and
Which judge will hear your motion.

Can I use this form?

You must have filed a motion with the court that you want the other party to know about.

What do I need first?

The date and time of the court hearing when you will be seeing the judge,
The court address and courtroom number where the judge is located. You can get this information from a Circuit Clerk, and
The names and addresses of the other people in the case, or their attorney’s name and address.
